Woodchurch in Bloom are delighted to be hosting this Village event again this year on Saturday 2nd December 2023.
We are currently busy planning for the event and would like to hear from anyone who would like to have a craft/Christmas stall

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Flower & Produce Show on 29th July, to all those that entered and to all those that supported us to enable us to bring back the Show – a great day and a wonderful atmosphere
Actress Anna Calder-Marshall helped to open the revival of the Flower & Produce Show in Woodchurch on 29th July.
The show started 136 years ago and was always an important event in Woodchurch, lasting until 2019.
Linda Crew from Woodchurch Cottage Flowers and Woodchurch in Bloom volunteers decided to bring the popular show back this year. Organisers were delighted to receive over 350 entries for a range of categories: Flowers, Floral Art, Vegetables & Fruit, Home Produce, Crafts and Photography with the addition of two children’s classes to help make the event an inclusive one.
While the judges were deciding on the winners, villagers enjoyed tea, coffee and home-made cakes ‘on the lawn’. A variety of traditional stalls and displays could be found on the village green, including a performance by the Woodchurch Morris Men.
As in 1889, the proceeds from the Show are going to All Saints Church in Woodchurch.
The next Flower & Produce Show will be back in 2025!
Saturday 18th March, 10am – 1pm, outside All Saints Church.
Spring is here and we are sorting our gardens out! Do you have plants or
seeds to SPARE and SHARE?

We will be hosting a Planting Out activity for children on Saturday 13th May.
💚😀We received this lovely message about success from one of the seed swaps:
“Think it was the year before last I picked up some candytuft seeds from the WIB seed swap. I merely chucked them about around my, then new, pergola. Not only did they give me a colourful display last summer but they’ve seeded and doing it all again now. I know they’re just simple annuals but aren’t they pretty? And with no real effort from me!”

So many items now being offered to us for recycling and reusing as part of our Thriving Together Gardening …. latest offer today was a redundant water tank sawn in half! Now we just need to decide where to put them as planters!
Proud to announce that the School garden is ready! Thanks to the many helpers, it has been transformed & ready for the children to start growing, rebuilding the bug hotel, learning & generally enjoying!
In keeping with our Thriving Together Gardening (TTG) aims, everything used has been with recycled, reused or repaired! 😀♻️
