Here we have done some more work at the school for our TTG pod

Here are some reasons to join us at the TTG launch event Saturday 26 March:
- Learn about our ‘Thriving Together Gardening’ for Woodchurch and where we will be having ‘pods’ around the Village
- Sample some herbal teas including some ‘uplifting tea’ courtesy of Lucy from Little World Herbs www.theherbary.orgHerbal shop | The Herbary | Biddenden
- Watch a demonstration of how to make a ‘no-dig’ bed – thanks to Linda Crew from Woodchurch Cottage Flowers
- Celebrate the official launch alongside The Mayor of Ashford, Cllr Callum Knowles
- See the plans unveiled for the School garden – designed by Jilly Raggett from Woodchurch Market Garden
- Discover how we’ve already started to use some of the 2021 Village Christmas Tree that was donated by Sarah & Richard George
- See how some of the donated wood and other items have already been put to good use in the Garden
- Enjoy a sociable morning with free hot drinks (courtesy of the Bonny Cravat) and cakes (while they last!)
- Pick up some sunflower seeds to enjoy planting, particularly this year with the sunflower being Ukraine’s national flower. We’re asking for voluntary donations for these, all of which will go to DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal
- Take part in our raffle – again all proceeds will go to DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal

TTG – recycling/re-using
So many items now being offered to us for recycling and reusing as part of our Thriving Together Gardening …. latest offer today was a redundant water tank sawn in half! Now we just need to decide where to put them as planters!
