WinBloom are proud that their initiation of public information boards for Woodchurch was endorsed and production costs are being met by the Parish Council. The first two completed boards are situated by the children’s play area and depict various bird and wildlife which can be seen around our village. We very much hope you enjoy these additions to this area of The Green.
The next double sided board under development, is a Village Information Map and on the other side a Footpaths map which will reflect the seven Footpath Walks which WinBloom have sourced.
The Village Information Map has recently been decided to be amended from the first approved draft in October 2021 to become a more illustrative point of interest map but still maintaining a list of local businesses whilst marking where they reside on our map. A small team of Parish Councillors and WinBloom volunteers have now been set up to coordinate the new content of this information board which along with the Footpaths Map is planned for being completed and being put up near the HUB carpark in the Spring of 2022.
WinBloom volunteers work very closely with the Parish Council, Memorial Hall and other organisations to help (free of charge) with design for signage and promotional literature including social media to enhance and promote our beautiful village.
